Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian says motherhood is the most exciting experience of her life.
The reality TV star, 32, who gave birth to her daughter, North West, with her rapper boyfriend, Kanye West, five weeks early on 15 June, has finally broken her silence to thank her fans for giving her time to adjust to the special new addition to their family.
Addressing North's arrival for the first time on her official blog on Wednesday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wrote: "These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family."
She added: "I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment."
First public outing
Kim made her first public outing following the birth of her daughter this week as she tried to travel incognito in her nanny's car in southern California.
An onlooker said: "Kim looks amazing, she really does. She's dropped a lot of the baby weight already...not to say she still doesn't have a ways to go, but she looked slim and was glowing."
Kim and Kanye, 36, have yet to release a picture of their first child and the star made sure no one caught a glimpse during the baby's first outing.
The source continued: "As for the baby, Kim and her helper kept a blanket over North's car seat so nobody could catch a glimpse."
It was previously revealed the couple plan to sell an image to a magazine and donate the profits to charity.
