Kim Kardashian West lets Glamour mag in on the deets of baby no 2

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian West is "beyond excited" to be expecting her second child.

The 34-year-old reality star revealed in a teaser trailer on Keeping Up With the Kardashians on Sunday night that she and husband Kanye West are having another baby and they can't wait to welcome a sibling for 23-month-old North into the world.

She said: "We are so beyond excited."

Throughout the current season of the reality show, Kim's struggles to conceive again have been well documented and she made the decision to highlight her difficulties to help other women experiencing similar problems.

She told the July issue of America's Glamour magazine: "I didn't know that I was going to be so open with [my fertility challenges]. But meeting people at my fertility doctor's office who are going through the same things I'm going through, I thought, 'Why not share my story? It's been really emotional."

The brunette beauty has been on an emotional "roller coaster" as she battled to conceive.

She said: "One doctor told me I would need my uterus removed after I had another baby - I could only have one more. One was like, 'You should get a surrogate.' The other one was like, 'Oh, no, you'll be fine.' Then I called my doctor, and he's like, 'You know what? I believe - we'll get through it.'

There are definitely times when I walked out [of the doctor's office] hysterically crying, and other times when I was like, 'OK, everything's looking good - it's going to be this month!'"

"The waiting and waiting has been a roller coaster."
