Kim Kardashian West reveals the sex of baby number 2!

Cape Town - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a little boy.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians TV star took to Instagram to praise Kanye for being the best father to North and wished him Happy Father's Day.

I'm so lucky to be married to a man who is so in love with his daughter, your bond is so irreplaceable! Thank you for being such a good dad! We love and appreciate you so much! We're so blessed to have you!

In a second post she shared a picture of Kanye reading to North along with the caption: "Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!"

The news comes after countless rumours surrounding the second West baby lead fans to believe Kim was first expecting twins and then that they were expecting a baby boy.

Kim took to her Twitter last week to deny rumours but has now confirmed that they are in fact expecting a mini Kanye.

so many rumors...we are not having twins, yes I am carrying my own baby lol & we have not told anyone the sex of our baby yet!
