Kim Kardashian West speaks out about Bruce Jenner's journey

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian West says Bruce Jenner is the "happiest he's ever been".

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has remained close to her stepfather - who has been the subject of rumours that he is planning to undergo gender reassignment surgery - since he split from her mother Kris Jenner in 2013 after 22 years of marriage and he will always have her "support".

She said: "I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I've ever seen him...He's our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he'll talk about whatever he wants to talk about.

"I guess I'll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that's his journey to talk about."

Kim, her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner recently shared a picture of themselves with Bruce amid the speculation about his personal life, but the 34-year-old beauty insisted the photograph wasn't designed to make a statement.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "Well we support Bruce no matter what, so we were just at his house hanging out and we wanted to take a picture, that was not like a secret message like, 'We support Bruce'. Of course we support Bruce 100%."

Kim believes Bruce, 65, will speak out about his "journey" when the "time is right".

She said: "I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right."
