Kim Kardashian felt like Carrie Bradshaw on Vogue shoot

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian felt like Carrie Bradshaw on her US Vogue shoot.

The brunette beauty found posing for the iconic publication reminded her of the lead character in Sex and the City - who was played by Sarah Jessica Parker - in scenes from the 2008 movie when she took part in a wedding shoot for the magazine prior to her nuptials with Mr. Big (Chris Noth).

The star - who appeared on the cover of the magazine alongside fiance Kanye West - said: "I felt like the real life Carrie Bradshaw. It was like the Sex and the City moment when you're doing a shoot for Vogue, trying on wedding gowns."

Kim is thrilled she's had the opportunity to grace the cover of Vogue, especially since it marks the first time a reality star and rapper have featured.

She explained to Late Night host Seth Meyers: "Just to be in the same name as so many amazing people that have been on the cover is such an honour. To have Anna Wintour pick us, and I know it's the first of a lot. They were telling us Kanye is the first rapper to be on, and I'm the first reality star to be on, and the first inter-racial couple. All of this means so much to Kanye and I."

One picture from the photoshoot saw the couple's daughter North, nine months, lying naked on her father's chest as he rests on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

She said: "North pee'd on him, right at that moment. He was trying to tell me and I couldn't really hear him and I had to get up and get her - clean her and clean him off."

Seth replied: "I wish there were Vogue out-takes."

Kim, who was laughing, added: "It's a good memory."
