Kourtney Kardashian expecting a girl

Los Angeles - Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly expecting a baby girl.

The 32-year-old reality TV star announced her second pregnancy with partner Scott Disick in November, and is said to be carrying a little sister for their son Mason, two.

A source said: "Kourtney was hoping for a girl. She loves having a boy but thinks having a girl would be perfect so she can dress her up and show her the ropes in life."

Their rep would not confirm the news, but Scott has previously admitted he would love to have a daughter.

He said: "A girl would be a fantastic addition to our family."

In a rut

However, things are allegedly far from rosy between the couple with claims abounding that Scott stormed out on Kourtney following a row about his partying in Las Vegas.

A second source told Life & Style magazine: "Kourtney was fuming. She told Scott not to come home. When he finally did, he quickly stormed out again - and said he was going to New York."

The report goes on to suggest that last month the pair - who split briefly back in 2009 while Kourtney, 32, was seven months pregnant with Mason - spent 11 days in January apart in different US states.

The source said: "When Scott wants to get away, he escapes to his own little bachelor pad on the Upper East Side. He's had it forever and doesn't plan to get rid of it. It's definitely not suitable for family living, though - it's a tiny apartment."

Meanwhile, Kourtney's family - including younger sisters Kim and Khloe - are said to be rallying round to comfort her.

The source said: "They know she's depressed and not happy. You can see she's in a rut."
