Los Angeles - Kris Humphries is "happy" to be divorced from Kim Kardashian.
The 28-year-old professional basketball player - whose split from the reality TV star became official last week after they battled for almost 18 months over how to legally end their 72-day marriage - said "it feels great" to finally be single again and plans to focus on his career rather than his love life from now on.
Speaking at the New York premiere of Man of Steel on Monday, he said: "I'm happy. I've got a big smile on my face."
He also told UsMagazine.com that "it feels great" to finally be able to put his divorce drama behind him and revealed that he has learnt a lot from the experience.
He explained: "I think you learn something all the time. I'm just focused on me and having a good time."
Despite being linked to several beauties since Kim, 32, filed for divorce on 31 October 2011, Kris insisted he is still single.
He said: "I don't have any (girlfriends) right now. You can't force a love life. I'm just focused on training and basketball."
Kim has also moved on and is set to give birth to her first child with her rapper boyfriend, Kanye West, early next month.
