Los Angeles - Kris Jenner has allegedly threatened to sue Bruce Jenner.
The 59-year-old reality TV star reportedly "might take legal action" against her ex-husband, who is expected to confirm later this week that he is transitioning into a woman, if he speaks negatively about her during his upcoming sit-down with Diane Sawyer on 20/20.
A source close the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who split from Bruce in October 2013 after 22 years of marriage, says she claims she had no idea he had a desire to become a woman until after they separated.
The insider told gossip website TMZ.com that while Kris admits she talked to the Olympian, 65, about his "tendency" to dress like a female 25 years ago, she insists she never saw him dressed as a woman during their entire relationship.
The Kardashian family matriarch is also said to have told friends that Bruce informed their daughters, Kendall Jenner, 19, Kylie Jenner, 17, and her older daughters, Kourtney Kardashian, 35, Kim Kardashian West, 34, and Khloé Kardashian, 30, about his plans before her.
But sources close to Bruce claim Kris always knew he was very conflicted about his gender.
Kris and Bruce previously claimed they were still close friends following their split.
Meanwhile, Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban is looking forward to watching Bruce discuss the changes in his life with Diane on Friday.
He told UsMagazine.com: "I think I'd be the only one in the world not watching it. So of course I'm going to watch it! I'm anticipating it myself."
