Kris Jenner opens up about Rob's struggle

Los Angeles - Kris Jenner has admitted Rob Kardashian is "struggling".

The 58-year-old reality star has revealed her 27-year-old son, who reportedly missed his sister Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West last month because he was so unhappy with his appearance, is living in Los Angeles and is working hard to deal with his personal issues.

Speaking to E! News, she explained: "Rob is living in LA right now and he's doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff ... We get through each other's adversity one year at a time.

"My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff."

The sock designer has plunged into depression after gaining a substantial amount of weight, but has been working with his personal trainer Gunnar Peterson to ensure that he improves his health and drops the pounds.

Gunnar said recently: "I think Rob knows exactly what to do. He's worked out before and he's focused.

"We're doing intervals with strength movements: squats, the sled, swings and push presses. It's about getting his heart rate up and keeping it up.

"I'm a firm believer in trying to make something that might not be considered fun by a lot of people, fun. And hopefully that makes the person have a positive association with it and they want to come back.

"Rob works out in beast mode. When I see him, we laugh, have fun and he gets after it hard at the gym. I know he can do this."
