Kylie Jenner causes cornrow controversy!

Los Angeles - Amandla Stenberg has blasted Kylie Jenner for wearing cornrows.

The 16-year-old actress accused the 17-year-old reality TV star of not helping black people by carrying out racial appropriation by showing off her new hairstyle in a photo on Instagram, captioned "I woke up like disss (sic)".

Amandla commented: "when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter (sic)".

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star later responded to the comment made by the Hunger Games star - who took Kylie's longtime pal and once rumoured boyfriend Jaden Smith to prom in May.

Kylie replied: "@amandlastenberg Mad if I don't, Mad if I do.... Go hang w Jaden or something (sic)."

While Amandla doesn't approve of Kylie's hair choices, the selfie queen announced she's launching a beauty website earlier this week.

Kylie took to Instagram to announce she was going to be sharing all her "beauty secrets" on KylieJenner.com, which will most likely include how to get her famous pout, as well as allow users to learn how to do cornrows.

Along with a selfie, which showed off her incredibly contoured features, Kylie shared: "can't wait to release all my beauty secrets on KylieJenner.com coming soon. Love this bright look by @makeupbyariel (sic)"

Amandla later Instagrammed this in response to the whole controversy:

bigger than you or me. discussions are healthy. ignorance is not. words by me

This is not the first time the actress has taken a stance on the topic. Earlier this year Amandla created a video on YouTube titled Don't Cash Crop On My Cornrows.
