Kylie Jenner crashes her car

Los Angeles - Kylie Jenner has been involved in a car crash.

The 16-year-old reality TV star was caught up in a three-car collision in Calabasas, California, on Tuesday after she shunted her $125 000 Mercedes-Benz SUV into the back of a Toyota, which subsequently smashed into a Volkswagen, just 18 days after getting her licence.

The brunette beauty immediately got out of her vehicle after the accident to check if everyone was OK and to apologise for her blunder, before exchanging insurance details with the other drivers, and speeding off prior to the police's arrival.

Nobody was injured in the accident and everyone involved acted cordial towards each other, according to TMZ.

Driving for at least six months

Kylie received the black Mercedes Benz SUV as a gift from her parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner, for her 16th birthday.

The teenage fashion designer - who had been driving for at least six months with a learner's permit - went to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) in Los Angeles just two days after reaching the legal age of 16 to take the test and passed on 12 August.

Kylie's oldest sister Kourtney Kardashian-Odom accompanied her to the test centre and shared her joy after Kylie passed with flying colours.

She posted a picture of the teenager driving on Instagram and wrote: "Look out world! @kyliejenner is a licenced driver! (sic)."

While half-brother Rob Kardashian added : "Little Sis passed her driver's test. Woot woot! (sic)"
