Lamar tries to save marriage with expensive gift

Los Angeles - Lamar Odom is planning to spend "well over $100 000" on an anniversary gift for his wife Khloe Kardashian-Odom.

The 33-year-old basketball player - whose marriage to the reality star is on the rocks following allegations of infidelity and rumours of crack cocaine addiction - wants to blow the brunette beauty away by squandering his pocket of cash on her to mark their fourth year of marriage on Friday.

A source told TMZ: "He wants to spend well over $100 000".

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has reportedly giving Lamar an ultimatum, stating that he either straightens up his act and proves he still wants to make their marriage work or she will be filing for divorce.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Khloe is giving Lamar until their four-year wedding anniversary to show some sign he still wants to be in their marriage. If not she's filing for divorce.

"She basically wanted him to know, 'I look great, I have an amazing life, I feel good about myself - so fuck you.'"

The source added: "She's embarrassed. She feels like she's wasted the last year of her life trying to help him. She's moved to a really different phase of the break-up. She went from despair to pure anger."

However, a source close to the situation previously that the best thing Lamar could do for his wife "would be to return to rehab, and stick it out. Khloe only wants Lamar to get the help he needs and she would be there to support him through it".
