LeAnn Rimes leaves rehab

Los Angeles - LeAnn Rimes has left rehab early to perform a number of concerts in the United States.

The singer-turned-actress left the centre just one week after she entered an in-patient treatment facility - seeking help for anxiety and stress.

The 30-year-old star is taking a break from the course, which was supposed to last 30 days - to perform at previously scheduled gigs over the weekend.

She wrote in a blog post titled 'Back At It!' on Friday: "I'm on a plane headed to see all my fans in Wisconsin tonight! I'm so ready. I've got a zillion fashion mags, my journal, iPod, water and a butterfingers. I'm all set."

'Insecurity issues'

After achieving the milestone age last month, LeAnn has admitted that the only down side to being older is her calorific cravings.

She continued: "Seems I've developed a sweet tooth after turning 30. If that's all that comes with 30, I think I'm settling in pretty well. So far, the new decade is treating me great!"

Following her decision to get help, her representative said she was merely in rehabilitation to "learn and develop coping mechanisms" for stressful situations.

However a source close to LeAnn and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, admitted her main source of anxiety is a preoccupation with thinking her spouse will cheat on her.

The insider explained to Us Weekly: "LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie.

"She's been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She's been on a downward spiral."
