Lee-Ann Liebenberg to wed in CT

Cape Town - SA model Lee-Ann Liebenberg is set to marry her fiancé Nicky van der Walt in Cape Town at the weekend.

Lee-Ann – who gave birth to baby Gia in October last year – has been secretly planning her wedding for months now and looks set to marry the father of her child at an "intimate ceremony" to be held at a secret location in Cape Town over the long weekend.

The couple's publicist, Andrew Farr, confirmed that the wedding is set to take place "somewhere in Cape Town this weekend". He declined to give any further details other than to say it would be an "intimate, elegant and chic affair", with a "prestigious guest list".

Liebenberg and Van der Walt became engaged at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, India in March 2010.

Wedding dress

Cape Town fashion designer Gavin Rajah took to to his Facebook page to share the news that he is working on her wedding dress. "Working on Lee-Ann Liebenberg dress for her big day and dresses for all the gorgeous ladies attending her wedding!" shared Rajah yesterday.

TV presenter and best friend Zuraida Jardine is apparently one of the bridesmaids. Close friends and family of the couple are expected to arrive in The Mother City from Johannesburg from today onwards for the nuptials.

The wedding couple has already arrived in Cape Town and are putting the final touches to their wedding ceremony before the long weekend.

Louboutins

Earlier this month, Liebenberg posted a photo of a pair of silver Christian Louboutins on her official Facebook page, which she’s rumoured to be wearing on her special day.

Sources close to the wedding party say the couple have flown in "thousands of flowers from overseas" and guests will be treated to Platinum Reserve Russian Standard Vodka and "expensive champagne".

The wedding is set to be put together by one of SA's most prestigious event organisers, Nick Nicolaou.
