Liam Hemsworth ignoring Miley Cyrus

Los Angeles - Liam Hemsworth has no interest in the drama surrounding Miley Cyrus.

The Australian actor, who confirmed the end of his engagement to the Wrecking Ball singer last week and was photographed kissing Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez the next day, allegedly believes his ex-fiancée is desperately trying to get his attention by being controversial.

The actor is said to be determined to ignore her by throwing himself into filming the third instalment of The Huger Games movies, Mockingjay - Part 1, in Atlanta, Georgia.

A source told gossip website HollywoodLife.com: "Miley is doing all this stuff to get Liam's attention, but it isn't getting to him. Liam's totally zoned into work right now.

"He's not paying attention to Miley and all their drama anymore. He doesn't see the point because they're done, his focus is on work and his future and he's very busy with this movie. It's a demanding role and he's not going to let any drama get him off track."

Drug use

Miley, who caused uproar when she twerked on stage in a skin-coloured latex bikini and danced suggestively with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards last month, caused more controversy this week when she opened up about her drug use, insisting she prefers so-called "social drugs" like marijuana despite Hollywood being a "coke town".

The 20-year-old singer, who is being linked to music producer Mike WiLL Made It, has dismissed reports she is heartbroken about her split from Liam, 23, despite crying on stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last weekend.

She tweeted on Friday night: "I'm exhausted from being so fucking happy. In bed at 9:45 & it feels so good. #booksinbed"
