Los Angeles - Liberty Ross wants a fresh start after her husband Rupert Sanders' affair.
The 34-year-old model-and-actress is trying to move on from her husband's "momentary indiscretion" with his Snow White and the Huntsman leading lady Kristen Stewart and is excited about the next phase of her life.
"I do think that this year is kind of the end of some things and the beginning of something else. And I think that beginnings are always really exciting, and change is very important in life," Liberty confessed.
"I believe that we're all on journeys, and we are all given lessons at certain times in our lives. And sometimes when things seem really bad, you have to be able to see the good and learn from it, and just move forward as graciously as possible."
Trying to stay positive
The couple are reportedly in therapy in an attempt to save their nine-year marriage for the sake of their two children, Sykla, seven, and Tennyson, five, but whatever happens Liberty is keen to stay true to herself and stay focused on the positives in her life.
Speaking in a confessional video leading up to her Alexander Wang runway appearance during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, Liberty said: "I'm very happy with my life. (I'm thankful) I have two amazing children. I'm still the same girl when I go home.
"It doesn't matter what I do in the day, or where I go, or who I'm with. It's like I'm just Liberty, and that's really important to keep hold of."
