Lindsay Lohan leaves rehab

Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan has left the Betty Ford Centre after a 90-day rehab stay.

The 24-year-old star has moved out of sober living quarters at the clinic's grounds in Rancho Mirage, California, and into a Los Angeles hotel while she waits to relocate to her new home - which is situated opposite her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson's property.

Removal vans were seen leaving the actress' West Hollywood apartment and heading to a new four-bedroom house in Venice, and Samantha - who had a volatile on and off relationship with the Mean Girls star from September 2008 - is not believed to be happy about her new neighbour.

According to X17 Online, the DJ said: "Trust me, it wasn't planned. I'm way p***ed off right now."

A source added to UsMagazine.com: "Samantha walked out of the building next door. She was shaking her head and looking disgusted. She kept saying, 'I didn't plan it this way.' "

As well as four bedrooms, Lindsay's new home has three-and-a-half bathrooms, a large open patio and two car parking spaces.

Despite being cleared to leave her court-ordered rehabilitation stay - which she was sentenced to for breaching the conditions of her probation relating to a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence - Lindsay will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing with a psychiatrist until a court hearing on February 24.

The troubled star took to her twitter page on New Year's Day to reveal her ambition to start 2011 on a positive note.

She wrote: "Today is the first day of the rest of my life. 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' - Mahatma Gandhi ... One step at a time. (sic)"
