Lingerie model who met Justin Bieber at a strip club says he is just a 'normal dude'

Los Angeles - Justin Bieber is just a "normal dude", according to his new friend Carmen Ortega.

The disgraced singer was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing around Miami Beach in a rented yellow Lamborghini on Thursday, but the brunette model insists the 19-year-old star is good guy at heart and is simply under pressure to behave in a certain way.

Carmen had a heart-to-heart with the Boyfriend hitmaker at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami on the Tuesday before his arrest, during which Justin reportedly admitted he was cracking under the pressure.

She told the New York Daily News' @Confidential section: "Justin says he feels under so much pressure. He really cares what people say. He was saying that all this attention is ruining his career. He was really sad.

"He said, 'I hate it that people make out I'm a bad guy, there's so much media pressure. I'm not a bad guy, I'm just being me.'"

Carmen insists the teen heartthrob didn't have a drop of alcohol during the 90 minutes she spent with him and was a "nice guy". Previously reports claimed Justin had spent $75 000 in single dollar bills to shower on the strippers at the strip club, where he was celebrating his friend Lil' Scrappy's birthday.

She added: "He gets such a bad rep when he's a really nice guy. He's just doing what any teenager would do if they were a star with lots of money.

"I gave him the advice to enjoy the moment, the right now, and not think about it too much. He agreed and said: 'You're right.'"

The busty brunette also confessed Bieber confirmed that he has split with on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Carmen said: "He said, 'I'm single, I'm not with her.' He then changed the topic; it was obvious he didn't want to talk about it."

Justin - who was allegedly "crying his eyes out" after his court appearance - has jetted back to Los Angeles after being released on bail.
