Many South African celebrities have signed up to take part in the 109km cycle challenge taking place in Cape Town on Sunday March 13.
5FM's Rob Vember, Elana Africa, Poppy Ntshongwana and Owen Hannie will be pedalling their way through the Cape on Sunday together with Kfm's Ryan O'Connor, who will be competing for the 14th time.
The Cape Town Tourism website reports that SABC3's Expresso presenters Michael Mol and Liezel van der Westhuizen will also be taking part.
e.tv weatherman Derek van Dam will be doing a tandem ride with his father who is flying in from the US for the event.
Former rugby stars Bob Skinstad and Robbie Fleck will be taking part in the name of charity. Funds raised from their journey will be donated to Skinstad's charity, the Bobs for Good Foundation.
Former international model Josie Borain and Sport24 editor Tank Lanning are also taking on the challenge.
Last year Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong took part in the race and in 2009 Matt Damon undertook the challenge while he was in town filming Invictus.
