Cape Town - The band St. Lucia, led by South African born singer Jean-Philip Grobler, appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on Tuesday night.

Kimmel, known for his headline making interviews, invited the New York based electronic pop band to perform on his show.

Channel24 had a quick chat with Grobler after the recording of the Kimmel show.

"We just shot the Kimmel performance in Los Angeles and we're on the runway about to fly to Houston for our next support date with Two Door Cinema Club. It never stops! It’s amazing."

Grobler, who is originally from Johannesburg and grew up performing with the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, shared some behind the scenes pics with Channel24.
