Los Angeles - The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has decided to ban Dina and Michael Lohan from appearing in Lindsay's documentary series.
TMZ reported that the parents will not feature in one scene of the TV production, and no mention will be made of their various misdemeanours like Dina's DUI arrest.
"We're told producers were struggling a few weeks back with the show's direction ... and after intense debate decided to not include the 'Lohan family circus'," says TMZ.
The show will focus on the former child star's recovery from drug abuse and the revival of her acting career as she tries to regain her previous fame.
The actress recently did a sketch with comedian Jimmy Fallon on his variety show:
