Man and woman arrested for stealing Miley's Maserati

Los Angeles - A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Miley Cyrus' home.

The pair, both in their 20s, were recognised from surveillance video and stopped in a North Hollywood street at 11am on Thursday.

Police studying the CCTV footage taken from Miley's home spotted the man and a woman entering the property by climbing over the property's garage.

Sgt. Kyle Kirkman has said the duo - whose names are yet to be released - are expected to be charged suspicion of burglary and grand theft auto.

The We Can't Stop singer was robbed of her $102 000 Maserati Quattroporte and jewellery items when the thieves targeted her home in San Fernando Valley, California, last Friday.

Although the luxury vehicle has since been discovered parked in a Simi Valley street and was not damaged.

It isn't the first time Miley - who is currently performing the European leg of her 'Bangerz' tour and isn't expected back in the US until July - has been burgled.

The singer was left "extremely upset" when her home was targeted by thieves in November on the weekend she turned 21, during which "a lot of personal items were stolen".
