Man charged with felony stalking of Selena Gomez

Los Angeles  — Prosecutors in Los Angeles have charged a man with felony stalking after he was arrested outside of singer-actress Selena Gomez's home twice in one week.

Che Cruz is due to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom for an initial court appearance Monday.

He also faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a court order for returning to Gomez's home Friday, just hours after his release from jail on a trespassing case.

Jail records do not indicate whether the 20-year-old has an attorney.

He was first arrested after breaking into Gomez's guest home March 30 and admitted in court Wednesday that he trespassed at her property. He was sentenced to probation and 45 days in jail but was released two days later.

Gomez starred in the TV series Wizards of Waverly Place.
