Marilyn Monroe sells sexy hair

Chatsworth - American haircare company Sexy Hair brought sex symbol Marilyn Monroe - who died tragically in 1962 at the age of 36 - back to life in their new ad campaign, called Styles Change.Sexy is forever.

The company licensed her name, images and use of quotes from Authentic Brands Group who runs Monroe's estate. President and CEO of Sexy Hair, Karl Heinz Pitsch, told Women's Wear Daily Monroe embodies the importance of one's hairdo in personal style.

"By joining forces with Marilyn and using her image for our upcoming marketing campaign we hope to strengthen the sex appeal and allure of the Sexy Hair brand."

Monroe's life up for auction

Last Saturday photographer Milton Greene's entire photo collection of Monroe - which consists of 3 500 photos of the starlet - was auctioned off, along with their negatives and copyright.

Some of the photos have never been seen before, which was mostly shot in the 1950s leading up to her highly publicised death.
