Mick Jagger is dating a 27-year-old dancer

Zurich - Mick Jagger is dating ballet dancer Melanie Hamrick.

The 70-year-old Rolling Stone - whose longterm girlfriend L'Wren Scott committed suicide in March - was spotted cosying up to Melanie, 27, in a Zurich hotel last week.

A source told The Mirror newspaper: ''Ever since the photos emerged Mel has kept her head down, hardly stepping out from her apartment.

''Talk has been rife about their fling with many believing it wasn't a coincidence they were in Zurich together.''

The pair are said to have met back backstage at a Rolling Stones gig - just days before L'Wren, 49, was found dead in her New York apartment - although it has since been revealed that the couple met in Tokyo during the Japanese leg of 'The Rolling Stones' 14 date world tour on March 6.

A close of friend of the rocker insisted Mick is still upset over the death of L'Wren - whom he dated for 14 years - but is trying to ''enjoy life again.''

They said: "Of course Mick is still sad over L'Wren but he is working through it and trying to move on with his life. Yes, he had a fling - he's a red-blooded man for goodness sake. But it's nice to see him enjoying life again. He's on the mend."

Meanwhile, Mick recently returned to the stage with the Rolling Stones but the group omitted their 1966 song 'Paint It Black' - about the death of a lover - from the set list for their first three gigs.
