Los Angeles - Miley Cyrus doesn't feel ''ready'' for another dog.
The 21-year-old star was thrilled to wake up to a new puppy from her mother Tish following the death of her Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd, on Tuesday, but the singer is unsure about the four-legged creature as she's still grieving for her beloved friend.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote about the new pup, named Moonie: ''I wanna sleep but all I can do is cry I never wanna go home to a house where Floyd isnt running & playing how do I get thru this
''I feel physically sick & I am so emotionally and physically exhausted I feel like I have nothing else to give sweet baby Moonie
''Maybe I'm not ready yet.... But being alone won't bring him back to me..... I'm at a loss I don't know what to do (sic)''.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker, who is a well-known animal lover, announced the sad news about Floyd, who she rescued in 2011, on Twitter last Wednesday.
However, Miley - who owns several rescue dogs - is no stranger to coping with a canine death as her Yorkshire Terrier Lila was fatally attacked by her English Bulldog, Ziggy, back in December 2012.
