Miley Cyrus' stalker convicted
Los Angeles - A man arrested outside Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home has been convicted of trespassing and running from police, reports TMZ
Jason Luis Rivera was apprehended in September, reportedly armed with a pair of scissors, after police were called when he was found on Miley's property. Rivera was found guilty in court earlier this week.
According to TMZ, he was ordered to stay 500 yards away from the singer and her home and faces up to 18 months in prison.
The 19-year-old singer and actress was not at home at the time of the incident.
Miley still feels safe
While being led away by the police, Rivera cliamed he knew Miley and that he had been married to her. Miley has told pals she will not be scared away from her gated mansion, because she has such a good security team around her.
A source recently said: "She doesn't plan on moving from her home and will not allow crazy people ruin her life. When she is home, she has her own security team that she trusts and is confident they would protect her.
"She will not be affected by the incidents that have happened recently at her house. She is relieved that no one was injured and hurt but moving is not an option."
