Miley unfollows Liam on Twitter

Los Angeles - Miley Cyrus has stopped following Liam Hemsworth on Twitter.

The Wrecking Ball singer, whose raunchy performances have sparked controversy recently, unfollowed her The Hunger Games star fiancé on the social networking site on Saturday amid reports their relationship is on the rocks again.

The Australian star is still following the singer, 20, but the couple haven't been spotted together since walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Liam's movie Paranoia in August.

The actor seemed in good spirits as he was photographed in Las Vegas with his friends on Saturday night, where he watched the Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match and also attended a pre-fight VIP party in the MGM Grand hotel, according to gossip website JustJared.com.

Miley is currently travelling a lot to promote her new album Bangerz before its release next month.

Fed up with Miley's behaviour

Liam was recently forced to deny rumours he has been sending flirtatious text messages to Mad Men star January Jones, whom he was reportedly caught getting "hot and heavy" with at a pre-Oscars party in Hollywood in February.

The 23-year-old star met Miley on the set of their 2010 movie The Last Song and they got engaged in May 2012 but postponed their wedding earlier this year.

A source recently said that Liam is looking for an easy way to end their relationship as he is fed up with Miley's behaviour.

The source said: "They're just weeks away from calling it off permanently. Liam feels very distant emotionally from Miley these days."
