New besties Bey and Tay are going to make music together!

Los Angeles - Jay Z wants Beyoncé and Taylor Swift to collaborate.

The Empire State of Mind hitmaker is reportedly keen for his wife and the Shake It Off singer to work together on a new track and treated their attendance at her birthday party as a "business meeting".

A source revealed: "Taylor Swift's birthday was not just a fun celebration, it was also a business meeting for her, Jay Z, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake."

"Name me four other people that are more powerful in the music world right now. Jay Z is obviously aware of this and he is the ultimate business man."

The 45-year-old rapper and music producer wants to use Taylor's "powerhouse" status to develop his brand.

The source continued to HollywoodLife.com: "He knows that Taylor is an extreme powerhouse. He has told Taylor his ideas - he wants to do music with her, and he also wants her to do music with Beyoncé."

"Jay Z wants her brand to go in with him for other business ventures as well. If those four walk into a room, who is going to say no to them? Nobody!"
