Nick Jonas will host the Kids' Choice Awards

Los Angeles - Nick Jonas will host the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards.

The 22-year-old singer appears to have confirmed he will be fronting the ceremony - which was presented by Mark Wahlberg last year - by posting a video on his Instagram account of himself singing the Nickelodeon theme tune while strumming on his guitar.

Nick - who is dating Miss Universe Olivia Culpo - also captioned the image with the date of the upcoming ceremony.

He also took to his Twitter account to pose a number of questions about several stars, all of whom happen to have hosted the event previously.

Cameron hosted the ceremony in 2004 alongside Austin Powers star Mike Myers, while Jack has fronted the show three times, the last occasion being in 2011, just one year before Will took over from him.

Rosie O'Donnell has hosted the show a record eight times, including two three-year stints, from 1997-1999 and again from 2001-2003.

Nick then later added another Instagram video announcing that he will indeed be hosting the Kids' Choice Awards.

Nick will no doubt have to poke fun at himself when he hosts the Kids' Choice Awards and he has got some practice in by joking that he was a "victim of objectification" after being compared to Justin Bieber following his Calvin Klein underwear shoot.

In a short documentary-style video on Capital Breakfast with Dave & Lisa, he quips: "Hi, I'm Nick Jonas and I was recently the victim of objectification. It can happen anywhere, the office ..."

He then goes on to say: "It can happen in the home ... even the street ... if you've been a victim, speak up now and remember objectification is not OK."
