Nicky Greenwall is pregnant

Cape Town - The Showbiz Report host and producer Nicky Greenwall has announced she is expecting her first child.

The blonde TV presenter is "very thrilled" about expecting her first baby with longtime boyfriend Robin Fryer in September.

Greenwall has not announced the news on The Showbiz Report yet and although she is trying to hide her baby bump, people have started whispering.

"Nicky is about three to four months along with the pregnancy," whispers a friend who spills that "if you look carefully you will no longer really see her appearing full-length on The Showbiz Report – it's now just all middle-up on the TV screen to hide the new and growing baby bump".

Cut back on work

According to sources Nicky Greenwall is planning to cut back on her work load. Besides presenting The Showbiz Report since 2005 she's also the executive producer of the show produced by her own company, Greenwall Productions. The production company is also responsible for e.Sat shows on the eNews Channel such as The Style Report and The Tech Report and she appears regularly on the news channel to do entertainment news reports.

"Nicky will still be doing The Showbiz Report for the forseeable future but she's definitely cutting back some stuff," says a source. "She's ending or going to stop the former daily grind of entertainment news stories for the eNews Channel, although she's planning to still continue doing the Friday appearances on the eNews Channel," says a well-placed source.

"She has no intention of giving up work though as The Showbiz Report remains her firstborn," says another, who says Nicky is "very thrilled" about her impending motherhood.

"Nicky Greenwall is very happy about the prospect of becoming a mother," says another source. "Nicky and Robin couldn't be happier about the pregnancy. Nicky looks radiant and happy."
