The fashion designer donned a trio of gowns by Marchesa when she married Joel Madden on Saturday. The ceremony was attended by her godfather Quincy Jones as well as Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale, Khloe Kardashian - and an elephant named Thai.
Nicole changed into different gowns for the ceremony, dinner and after-dinner party.
The couple's nuptials were winter-themed and took place at father-of-the-bride Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills estate and were officiated by run-DMC rapper and practicing minister Reverend Run.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Joel and Nicole have looked up to Rev. Run, so they wanted him to officiate. They both appreciate his family values and he is an inspiration for both. They both also respect his faith, too."
Celebrity no-shows included Christina Aguilera, who was reportedly supposed to be singing at the ceremony, and Kim Kardashian. The most noticeable person missing from the guest list was Paris Hilton, Nicole's on-off best friend.
Nicole and Joel have two children together.
