Cape Town – In an exclusive interview with YOU magazine, Nicolas Cage's daughter-in-law Nikki Williams speaks from rehab about their stormy relationship and her pregnancy.

The South African songwriter married Weston Cage, Nicolas's son, in April this year.

Nikki Williams spoke to YOU by telephone from the wellness centre in Los Angeles where both she and Weston were recovering from their recent drunken brawl which lead to their arrest earlier this month.

However, Nikki explains that the pair were not compelled to enter rehab, saying: "We are not alcoholics or junkies; we have eccentric personalities and alcohol isn't good for either of us."

Furthermore, Nikki blames her pregnancy hormones for the violent rage that lead to the infamous fight between her and her husband.

"I'm in my first trimester and my hormones are raging, I'm crying one minute, snapping at my husband the next."

Nikki says that both she and Weston are now focusing on getting their lives and their health back on track, saying: "We have a deal now; we'll keep things between us, as it should be in marriage."

*For more details on what's happening between Nikki and Weston, read the full interview in the July 21 issue of YOU magazine.
