No candy for new mom Kim Kardashian

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian has asked visitors not to bring her candy in hospital as she recovers from her birth.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star delivered her daughter, believed to be called Kaidence Donda West, last Saturday - her first child with rapper Kanye West - and has had numerous family members and friends come and see them both at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

Although Kim is delighted to have so many visitors she has requested no one brings her sugary treats because she wants her weight loss to start now.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She has over 30 bouquets from loved ones. She told everyone not to bring sweets - she said she doesn't need any temptations."

Get back into shape

When she leaves hospital, Kim plans to hit the gym as soon as she is physically able to so she can start shifting the pregnancy pounds she gained.

The source added: "She's already looking ahead to when she can exercise again."

Another insider added: "She really wants to get back into shape. It's important to her."

Kim continued to exercise while she was expecting; following a light regime devised by celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson.

But the 32-year-old beauty is reportedly considering hiring Gunnar Peterson who has helped her younger sister Khloe, 28, lose 11kg.

Kim and Kanye's baby was born around three weeks premature - not five as was first reported - and will remain in hospital until she reaches 2.3kg in weight.
