No wedding rush for Hurley, Warne

Los Angeles - Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne are going to be engaged for "a while".

The Gossip Girl actress - who split from her first husband, textile heir Arun Nayar, last December - got engaged to the former cricketer earlier this month, but she admitted the pair are not going to rush into a wedding.

The 46-year-old star told You magazine: "It's a very exciting time for me and Shane. We aren't making any immediate plans to get married - we're going to enjoy being engaged for a while."

Elizabeth - who has a nine-year-old son, Damian, with former flame Steve Bing, while Shane has children Brooke, Summer and Jackson with his ex-wife Simone Callahan - said the 42-year-old sportsman makes her feel "happy" and she is glad her son gets along well with Shane's kids.

'The more the merrier'

She added: "We both want to spend more time with each other's families, and Damian and I are looking forward to visiting Australia together in the near future.

"Shane makes me happy. We have a lot of fun together, we laugh a lot and that's very important to me. I couldn't put up with the 'serious' for too long."

"My family and my new family with Shane and his kids are what's important. His children are really beautiful, sweet and affectionate. They get on brilliantly with Damian, and as an only child, it's great for him to have them around when they come to stay.

"I love having a lot of people in the house - the more the merrier."
