Los Angeles - Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa were involved in a car crash over the weekend.
The 41-year-old singer has revealed he and his stunning spouse, 34, whom he married in 2011, were on their way to a dinner date when the Uber car they were travelling in was involved in a minor smash up with another vehicle.
Taking to his Instagram account on Sunday night, Nick uploaded a photograph of a white car's scrunched up bonnet sitting under a black vehicle's caved-in boot, but refused to state which motor he was travelling in at the time.
Offering some safety advice to his fans, he wrote: "Word of advice.....always wear your seatbelt when you @uber There is no such thing as a guaranteed safe ride. #datenight (sic)."
After being bombarded with a string of concerned messages from his social networking followers, the former 98 Degrees star assured fans he and Vanessa were safe and well.
