PICS: Taylor Swift meeting her godson will melt your heart!

Los Angeles - Taylor Swift met her godson for the first time on Tuesday.

The Bad Blood hitmaker had her first cuddles with friend Jaime King's two-week-old son Leo Thames and took to Instagram to post the adorable pictures of the moment.

The smitten godmother can be seen gazing lovingly at Leo whilst Jaime looked on and smiled.

She captioned the photo: "Meeting my boy."

Her pal also shared the same picture and wrote: "My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss."

Taylor, 25, then shared a picture of the baby's hands curled around her finger, and, referenced the lyrics to her song Never Grow Up, she wrote: "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight...(sic)"

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer recently threw a star-studded baby shower for the Hart of Dixie actress - who also has son James Knight, 21 months, with husband Kyle Newman - and Jaime later praised the efforts of her friend.

She penned: "How can I put this into words... (Taylor Swift) is not only going to be an exquisite Godmother but one of the best friends one could ask for. Thank you Tay for throwing me such an insanely beautiful baby shower. Less then 12 hours after performing for 100k strong. I love you SO MUCH xx (sic)"
