Paris Hilton laughs off Deadmau5 blog attack over her money making music

Los Angeles - Paris Hilton has branded Deadmau5 an attention seeker.

The 33-year-old socialite hit back at the DJ on Twitter after he called her a "straight up ass" for trying to carve out a career in the music industry and earning $1m for "playing a CD at a club".

In a post on his blog, the Ghosts 'n' Stuff hitmaker wrote: "I remember back when, at the cosmo in vegas, she attended, and i guess i was accommodating (as far as that usually goes for me) i could see she was having a fun time, liked the music, and just wanted to be a part of it all... so of course, why not... even i couldn't hate on that (sic).

"But, let's get real here for a second... There's being involved / enthusiastic about something... and then there's just being a straight up ass (sic)."

The 33-year-old musician - real name Joel Zimmerman - said Paris was insulting him and his colleagues by encroaching on their scene and calling herself a professional, as they have "invested their entire lives to their careers".

He added: "so paris, thank you... were actually not even mad youre enthusiatic about electronic music... we love that youre a part of our party. But please, get the fuck back in your go kart. No need to prove that you found someone stupid enough to consider paying you a million dollars for something the world knows you arent... because here's what you actually are to everyone who knows better.. ticket sales. nothing more (sic)."

He also suggested the former reality TV star only became a DJ because she once dated DJ AfroJack.

But the blonde beauty quickly laughed off his rant:

She also shared a little message on Instagram to make sure Deadmau5 got the message:

Cheers ??
