Pearl apologises for racist rant after local gossip mag exposes her shocking text messages

Cape Town – Pearl Thusi on Friday took to Metro FM to apologise for her shocking outburst after heat magazine published an exposé on the actress.

In the latest issue of heat, on sale now, Pearl is accused of sending "insulting and racist" text messages to a 76-year old woman whose car she crashed into earlier this month.

The Juice reported that both the editor of heat, Andre Neveling, and Pearl appeared on air earlier on Friday and was quizzed by Metro FM’s Phat Joe about the drama.

Neveling said they did approach Pearl for comments on the story to which she responded by sending out a press release to all media.

Pearl apologised for sending the messages which can be seen in the latest issue of heat.
