Los Angeles - Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, has welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier this month, reports Daily Mail.
In a post on his website, Perez shared the news with his followers, not revealing any details about the mother, how the baby was born or what name he had chosen for his son.
In the post, Perez wrote: "I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!"
A picture of him holding his son was also posted along with the announcement.

The infamous blogger had been photographed in recent weeks at various clothing stores, buying baby clothes and supplies before the announcement was made.
Various celebrities have also taken to various social networking sites to congratulate Perez on the new arrival.
Talk show host Wendy Williams was among the first of a flock of celebrities to congratulate Perez on Twitter, writing: "Congrats Perez Hilton on becoming a dad. #HowYouDoin?"
Actress Jenny McCarthy wrote: "'Welcome to the club Perez Hilton Sooo happy for u! #babyperez," while Ricki Lake added: "Wow! So happy for u! @PerezHilton Congrats! Xoxo."
Perez took time to thank everybody on his Twitter page, and also asked that people donate money to charity rather than extend gifts.
