Glasgow – It was just another night on stage for actress Lilly-Jane Young, who plays Wendy in the stage production of Peter Pan at the Hydro in Glasgow.
But that was all about to change when her boyfriend, who plays the role of Peter Pan, abruptly stopped the show.
Sandor Sturbl had a different ending in mind for the familiar fairy tale.
The 28-year-old actor caught Lilly off guard when he stopped in the middle of a song and announced to the audience that the show will not end with Peter kissing Wendy.
Instead Sandor got on one knee and proposed to his surprised girlfriend in front of the audience as well as Lilly’s parents.
“I thought it was a technical hitch and was staring to panic when Sandor turned to the audience,” Lilly told The Daily Record.
“It was a magical moment and one I’ll never forget,” she added.
