The Moneyball star has credited his "great group of friends and family" for helping him through the ordeal and he is already back at work filming his next movie in Europe.The critically acclaimed star - who can next be seen in sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with Jennifer Lawrence - has previously opened up about his troubled past, suggesting his dependency on drugs and alcohol wasn’t "just a phase".He said: "It was pretty bad, you know what I mean. And I know, deep down, I still look at the idea of drinking with the same ferocity that I did back then. It's still pretty tangible.
"I was young, I drank too much, you know, so I stopped. You know what I mean, it's not really complicated. I had no interest in drinking in moderation. And I still don't. Just because all that time's passed doesn't mean maybe it was just a phase. That's who I am."
