Los Angeles - Police have halted the search for Peaches Geldof's drug dealer.
The socialite died of a heroin overdose in 2014 but the case of who supplied her the Class A substance has now been shelved after police confirmed "all lines of inquiry were exhausted".
The TV presenter - who is survived by her rocker husband Thomas Cohen and their two sons, Astala, three and Phaedra, two - was discovered dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, over a year ago, but the police's 15-month hunt to find her supplier has been unsuccessful, officers told her father Bob Geldof.
During the investigation, the 27-year-old star's phone records were searched although no arrests were made.
Speaking about the case, Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham of Kent Police commented: "If further information or witnesses come forward, we will review the case."
Although her family were unaware of her drug habit, the inquiry into her death showed she had started taking heroin in February 2014, having been taking the heroin substitute methadone for over two years prior to her death.
When her body was discovered, 6.9g of the substance was also discovered in her £1m home, which her family started clearing out in March.
