London - Britain's Prince Harry is said to be "desperate" to rekindle his romance with Chelsy Davy.
The 27-year-old royal - who split from the blonde beauty earlier this year following a six-year on-off romance - reportedly met with Chelsy prior to jetting off to California for helicopter training to discuss giving their relationship another shot.
A friend of the couple told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Harry is desperate to rekindle their romance. He says Chelsy is one of a kind and although he's dated other girls, he still loves her.
"Chelsy invited him over to her flat for a Friday night dinner and he stayed until the early hours. Chelsy still has feelings for him and is thinking about giving it another go."

Despite being keen to rekindle her romance with Harry - who enjoyed a short-lived summer fling with lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce - Chelsy is said to have her reservations about becoming a royal bride.
The friend added: "Harry was Chelsy's first love, but she doesn't want to be a princess. She is very much her own woman and wants to make her own career."
Following her split from Harry earlier this year, Chelsy - a trainee solicitor at London law firm Allen and Overy - has been linked to Jamie Richards, the 29-year-old son of Aston Martin boss David Richards.
