Cape Town - Just a week before her death, the late FHM model Reeva Steenkamp opened up to Heat magazine about her relationship with Oscar Pistorius.
During the interview published in the magazine's latest issue, Reeva opened up about her concern that "lies" might ruin her relationship with Oscar.
The couple had been dating for about two months before Oscar allegedly shot and killed her on 14 February.
Negative publicity
Opening up to the magazine, Reeva also spoke out about her romance with Oscar, revealing how she "respects and admires" him. She also revealed how she was constantly afraid that negative publicity could hurt Oscar's career as a paralympic athlete.
"We haven't been talking to the media because I don't want to get it tainted. I don't want anything coming in the way of his career. He's such an amazing athlete. You know what they do, they make things up like 'Reeva cheats on Oscar' and rubbish like that."
