Johannesburg - Family and friends of Afrikaans singer Kurt Darren can finally breathe a sigh of relief after the results of the Loslappie singer's brain scan were announced.
"What a relief. Kurt's brain is fine. All he needs now is time to recover," Darren van Heerden, Kurt's brother, told Beeld on Tuesday.
Doctors at the Netcare Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg did a brain scan on Darren after doctors suspected that the accident might have caused permanent damage to the singer's eye.
"The brain scan showed that everything is fine and nothing is out of place. According to the doctors my brother just needs to rest," Van Heerden said.
Darren was airlifted to hospital early Sunday morning after he was involved in a serious car crash on his way home from watching a rugby match.
