Robin Williams' kids inherit his $50m estate

Los Angeles - Robin Williams' children have inherited $50m.

The late actor, who died from asphyxia due to hanging at his home in Tiburon, California in August, reportedly left the bulk of his estate to his sons, Zak Williams, 31, and Cody Williams, 22, and daughter Zelda Williams, 25.

According to the 63-year-old actor's will, a copy of which was obtained by MailOnline, his third wife, Susan Schneider, will be cared for under the terms of a prenuptial agreement they signed before their wedding in Napa Valley, California in October 2011.

Robin left instructions about how his fortune should be distributed by the Robin Williams Trust, which is now being run by a trustee, in the official document, dated 31 January 2011.

The Mrs. Doubtfire star's death was officially ruled a suicide last week following a lengthy investigation, and it was revealed he was struggling with a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, depression and paranoia for many years.

Sources close to the actor also told gossip website TMZ.com that they believe Lewy Body Dementia - a condition commonly associated with Parkinson's that often includes side effects such as hallucinations - was a "key factor" in his death.
