London - Ronan Keating is going through a "tough time" following the split from his wife Yvonne.
The 35-year-old singer and his spouse - who have children Jack, 13, Marie, 11, and six-year-old Ali together - confirmed at the weekend they are ending their 14-year marriage, and the Boyzone star admits he is trying his best to get through the difficult time.
He said: "You can only keep on going. You can't hide away, you've got to keep on moving. But it is tough times - and we're trying to get through it as a family and we still love each other."
Alleged affair
The couple came close to breaking up following Ronan's alleged affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell in 2010, but managed to patch things up temporarily.
Things are now tense between the pair but they are hoping to remain friends.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Things are pretty tense but they will remain an integral part of one another's lives."
The Life is a Rollercoaster hitmaker insisted he and Yvonne still love one another when he confirmed the news of their split.
He Tweeted: "Sadly our news is true. Thank u all for your support. Yvonne and I still love and care for each other and want to protect our kids. (sic)"
