Los Angeles - Russell Brand has been accused of throwing a photographer's phone through a window.
The 36-year-old Arthur star has been named in a police report in New Orleans, which alleges he snatched the phone out paparazzo Timothy Jackson's hand before hurling it away.
According to TMZ.com, Timothy - who filed the report for "criminal damages" - was with a group of photographers and started taking pictures of Russell on his iPhone from his car on Monday.

He then claims the comedian wrestled the phone out of his hand and threw it at a nearby abandoned building, where it smashed a window.
Police sources told the website the matter is being investigated, but Russell's spokesperson did not comment.
After filing for divorce from Katy Perry in December after just 14-months of marriage, the former TV presenter has been linked with several women including Katy look-a-like Zooey Deschanel and artist Oriela Medellin Amieiro.
However, he spent last weekend strolling around New Orleans in the company of a mystery brunette.
A witness told the Daily Mail: "The woman went into the ice cream shop and when she came out he gave her a kiss. They appeared very cute together, very together."
