Ryk arrives to support Charlene

Monaco – South African swimming champ and Charlene Wittstock's former teammate Ryk Neethling has arrived in Nice, France ahead of her wedding to Prince Albert II of Monaco.

After rumours started circulating earlier in the week about Prince Albert’s alleged affairs that caused Wittstock to attempt to leave Monaco, Neethling has spoken out stating that the rumours are entirely false.

“Charlene has been living in Monaco for the last five years. Why would she want to leave now?”

Many South African media outlets have published articles claiming that Charlene was getting cold feet.

According to the article in The Times, Charlene had been upset for the past week after an emotional incident that took place at the palace’s helicopter pad.

Sacrifices

She was apparently also seen crying openly on a flight to Paris.

Neethling has said that after The Times contacted him for comment, he immediately phoned Charlene’s trainer Graham Hill who assured him that the stories are total fabrications.

“He told me that the stories were fabricated, I also can’t believe that they’re true, because Charlene has already sacrificed so much. She has been exposed to palace life for so long, why would she want to leave now?”
